I am on a panel at a tobacco conference presenting data on health disparities within the API community. The salad was made by the ladies of the First Institutional Baptist Church, who were kind enough to feed me.
What a nice surprise, the banquet hall staff brought out and set up a dinner for us near the registration table.
The night was very successful and quite the blur. I do not remember eating this, but I did remember to shoot it.
Our chef sucked almost as bad as the service. This was a disappointment. The shrimp appetizer was overcooked and dry, the wilted salad kept a bit too long in the chiller, the steak was inedible (I think the chef got distracted, because my steak was way too salty), and the rice was dry as if it was left out too long. Quite the disappointment. Stay away.
